Privacy policy

This site collects personal information in exactly one place: the consultation booking form. This page says what happens to it.

Who we are

The Build Alliance is a trading name of Build Alliance Pty Ltd, of Level 1, 457-459 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010. We can be reached on (02) 8005 4100.

What we collect

When you book a consultation we ask for your name, work email address and the date and time you would like. You may also give us your company name, phone number, your role in the supply chain, and a short description of the work you are looking to win. Only the name, email, date and time are required.

Our server also records the IP address a booking was submitted from. That is used solely to limit how many bookings can be made from one place in an hour, which is what stops the form being flooded by automated submissions.

What we do not collect

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising or social media tracking. Nothing you do here is shared with a third party for marketing, and there is no tracking to opt out of.

Why we collect it, and what we do with it

We use it to contact you about the consultation you asked for, and to prepare for it. We will not add you to a mailing list on the strength of a booking, and we do not sell or share enquiry details with anyone.

Where it is stored

Bookings are stored in a database on a private server operated on our behalf, not in a third-party marketing platform. Access is limited to the people at The Build Alliance who need it to answer you.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for two years from your last contact with us, so that we have context if you come back. After that they are deleted. The IP addresses used for rate limiting are discarded once the hour they cover has passed.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@thebuildalliance.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be notified by email.
