Tender discovery for the construction industry

Live opportunities found and qualified against your trade, region and capacity, so what reaches you is worth reading.

The opportunities exist. Finding them is a full-time job

Live work is scattered across government tender portals, dozens of separate council registers, head contractor expressions of interest, industry bodies and plain relationships. No single source carries all of it, and the ones that carry most of it bury the relevant items among hundreds that are not.

The people best placed to judge which opportunities are worth chasing are the same people running current projects. Watching portals is the first thing that falls off the list, and it stays off until the pipeline is already thin.

What we do

We monitor the sources daily and qualify what we find before it reaches you. The measure of the service is not how many opportunities arrive, it is how few you have to reject.

  • Watch government, council, head contractor and private sources on your behalf.
  • Filter against your trade, your regions, your current capacity and the contract values worth your time.
  • Check the basics before sending: are you eligible, is the prequalification in place, is the timeline survivable.
  • Send each opportunity with enough detail to make a bid or no-bid call quickly, rather than a link and a deadline.
  • Adjust the filter as your capacity and appetite change through the year.

We do not forward everything we find

An alert subscription will send you every item matching a keyword, which sounds like value and is actually a second inbox to ignore. Within a fortnight nobody reads it, and the one relevant tender in the batch goes past unopened.

Qualification is the work. If a week is quiet, you hear from us less. That is the service functioning, not failing.

Common questions

How many opportunities should we expect?
It depends entirely on your trade, region and the contract values you want, and it varies week to week with what is actually in the market. We would rather set that expectation honestly on a call than publish a number here that flatters us.
What if an opportunity is not relevant?
Tell us why, and the filter tightens. The first month is largely calibration, and being told an opportunity was wrong is more useful to us than being told nothing.
Do you cover private work or only government?
Both. Government and council portals are the visible part, but a considerable share of construction work moves through head contractor invitations and private clients, which is a matter of relationships rather than registers.
What happens once we decide to bid?
That is where bid support picks up: the compliance schedule, structuring the response, the evidence, and a review before it is lodged. Discovery clients frequently take that as well, but it is a separate decision.

Your trade, your regions, the contract values worth winning. That is enough for us to show you what we would have sent you last month.
